History
St. Boniface Catholic School was opened in the fall of 1887 by the Benedictine Sisters of St. Scholastica Convent.  In 1891 the Olivetan Benedictine Sisters of Jonesboro took charge.  In 1903 the school was again administered by the Benedictines of St. Scholastica.  Today the school is administered by a certified lay principal and staffed by certified lay teachers.

In December of 1910, the original frame school building was destroyed by fire.  The present red brick building was constructed in 1911, with additions in 1955 and 1960.

Admission
St. Boniface Catholic School offers pre-school programs as well as Kindergarten through sixth grades.  Priority enrollment is given to parish members.  Non-parishioners and non-Catholics are offered enrollment based on space availability.  A diverse student population is encouraged and welcomed.
